I have already told my parents that should they ever move, I ain't helping with the packing. (With the exception of anything that belongs to me or my kids.) My mom is a packrat par excellence, and they have been in this house for over 26 years. The notion of trying to pack this place up scares me. I know what you mean about being in the same town as your parents. It really is a wonderful thing. The good news is they're not THAT far away.
