Testing . . .
Tuesday, August 12th, 2008I’m trying something new to control spam without requiring all commenters to create a new account here: I installed an OpenID plugin. I’d like some people to test it out and see if it’s working properly. If it is, I might leave things set up like this. If it creates other problems, then I’ll just put things back to the way they were before.
If you don’t know what OpenID is, you can read more about it here. Basically, you should be able to post comments if you have an account with any of the sites listed here.
Of course, I just recently read a New York Times article about how passwords suck and how OpenID is not a good solution, but that’s a different issue.
