This Is Driving Me Crazy

But as my father likes to say, at least it’s a short drive.

I’ve finally gotten around to installing a gallery*, and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the borders on the nav menu to go away. I’ve been over the template and the style sheet several times, and I just can’t figure out where they’re coming from. I’d be forever in the debt of anyone who could take a look at it and figure it out.

*Technically, this is not the first photo gallery I’ve installed. I tried installing Gallery 2 first, but its style sheet and templates are a frigging nightmare to modify. Plus it’s the biggest piece of open-source bloatware I’ve ever seen. Right now the only thing it’s got going for it is the lack of weird borders on the nav menu.

You can take them off with “img {border: none;}”. You may want to be more specific and use “a img {border: none;}, though.

I highly recommend the Firefox Web Developer Toolbar’s “Edit CSS” tool.

That’s all it took? Sheesh. I could’ve sworn I had tried something like that already, but then again, I often overlook the obvious, common-sense answers.

I’m already a big fan of the Web Developer Toolbar, but I wasn’t familiar with that function yet. Thanks for the tip.

I’ll add you to the list of people whose debt I am forever in.

    Short drive. . . I love it.
